racing
portion
of
the
continuation
of
the
20th
Annual
Mopars
at
The
Rock.
The
original
20th,
scheduled
for
April
16,
was
re-run
due
to
tornadoes
and
threatening
weather
experienced
at
the
annual
spring
event.
Booth,
Creedmoor,
took
top
honors
and
the
in
the
Pro
class
over
Wes
Keels,
Matthews,
in
the
final
round.
Booth
drove
his
1983
Charger
to
an
eighth
mile
time
of
5.700,
112.41
mph
over
Keels
9.042,
53.29
as
the
dragster
had
transmission
issues
in
the
final.
Booth
was
dialed
on a
5.54,
Keels
on
5.66.
Barry
Nall
was
the
semi-finalist.
David
Smith,
Jr.,
of
Germanton
won
Footbrake
over
Robby
Ward
of
Rural
Hall.
Smith,
driving
a
1973
Duster,
won
over
Ward’s
1970
Barracuda
when
Ward
redlighted
in
the
final.
Trophy
was
