TIM LYNCH WINS OUTLAW 10.5 TITLE IN HOLCOMB MOTORSPORTS CIVIL WARS

            ROCKINGHAM – Tim Lynch of Woodstock, Ga., went wire-to-wire Sunday to win the J.W. Performance Transmissions $5.000 Outlaw 10.5 championship at the Holcomb Motorsports Fall Civil Wars event at Rockingham Dragway.

            The No. 1 qualifier, Lynch drove his 2000 Ford Mustang past the ‘92 Mustang of Brad Brand in the final round.  Other winners included Taylorsville’s Darrin Hoyle in Outlaw Top Street, Terry Floyd of Lake Wylie, S.C., in 6.0 Index, Jerry Cline of Mooresville in 7.0 Index and Sam Hood of Bennettsville, S.C., in the King of the Rock class.

            In the bracket categories, Rockingham’s Will McKay, C.J. McDonald of Carthage and Chad Brewer of Shannon were the Pro Tree Doorslammer winners; Tommy Lumley of Charlotte, Joseph Thompson of Mooresville and Mark Soles of Riegalwood the Footbrake winners.
